Brownie Pizza

BROWNIE LAYER:

  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ¾ cup butter (1 ½ sticks)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon soda

Preheat oven to 350°.  Line the bottom & sides of a 12 inch spring form or pizza pan with foil & butter.

Melt chocolate and butter.  Whisk until completely smooth.  Stir sugar into melted chocolate/butter until smooth and no longer grainy. Mix in vanilla and eggs until well blended. Stir in flour/soda.  Spread batter in pan and bake 30 minutes. Do not over-bake.

CREAM CHEESE LAYER:

  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

Mix cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well blended.  Pour over baked brownie layer leaving chocolate edges showing.  Bake 10 minutes longer.

TOPPINGS:

Assorted fresh fruit

Arrange sliced fruit and drizzle w/melted chocolate.
